Hello Mary & Ray,
As discussed the other night, there are quite a few reasons why we like you bringing your clothes and shoes along to our swing, and our rock & roll dances and lessons - as follows:
1. Your display helps to create the right type of `atmosphere' when people first arrive, it tends to `set the scene' and gets people in the right frame of mind to enjoy themselves.
2. Having your clothes and shoes at our dances and classes is also a great extra service that we can offer our students and dance patrons.
3. Having you there is also one of the many factors that helps to increase the attendances at our classes and dances, and this is borne out by the feedback that we receive.
4. I am also very pleased with both the excellent quality and the reasonable prices of all your merchandise - and of course, I also say this as one of your long-standing customers.
 5. I also like the low-key, friendly, non-pushy and professional way that you operate - people tend to `talk' in the swing and rock & roll scenes, and you both enjoy a very high reputation and are very popular.6. But by far the most important reason - (and this is very much a self-interest reason from my point of view) - is that the sales you make helps to build `commitment' with our students and dance patrons.
Swing and rock & roll are like most of the pastimes that people take up - the majority of people tend to enjoy their dancing and stay long-term, but there is also a significant percentage who seem to just `drift in and then drift out', sometimes never to be seen again.
I believe that when they invest in dance shoes and clothes, then it is not only the financial investment that they make (although this is important) - it is more the `psychological' and `emotional' investment they make that helps to keep them coming back to our classes and dances - and this is what builds that all-important `commitment'.
I am a firm believer in the saying that `dressing the part' really does make people dance better - and I frequently say exactly this to our students.
It is not a surprise to me that since you started 'Gorgeous', you have well and truly `blown the competition away', because you have it all - friendly and outgoing but not over-the-top natures, top quality merchandise, affordable prices.
And most importantly - and as demonstrated on your website - you have an ongoing and genuine interest in promoting and fostering swing dance and rock & roll dance.
I have no objections at all to you circulating my above comments `far and wide', but ask that you not disclose my identity to anyone without running their name by me first.

"They are Great!!! We really love them. Pepper has decided that we have to order several new sets of them. She really likes the look of being the same, but opposite. She wants to get some others that are like the BLACK/RED and RED/BLACK rock and rolls that we have. Can you tell me what color combinations we can order them in. We definitely need YELLOW/BLACK + BLACK/YELLOW, because our old ones are wearing out (we didn't realize how much until we got the new ones). I think you also had BLUE/BLACK and BLACK/BLUE, but is it possible that there are other colors as well. She likes the idea of the BRIGHT colors combined with either black or white. When we wore them this weekend, some of the college kids got to see them and now they are jazzed about the idea of the colors. Apparently they didn't realize how good the colors would look. They had seen our old BLACK/YELLOW before, but they didn't know how great it looks to have the same colors but in an opposite configuration like we now have with the RED/BLACK & BLACK/RED ones.
