The repeated German Aerobic Champion Janka Daubner (SV Halle) and the members of the German national team aerobic have it already: the new competition shoe made by BLEYER !

>> GYMmedia: Which requirements are there for a special aerobic competition shoe?
Janka Daubner: "It has to be very smooth, light and very flexible!"
>> How did the development of a new model, especially for aerobic gymnastics, come about?

Daubner: "About two years ago, we went to BLEYER, presenting this idea, because there was no shoe in trade, which had all features necessary. Therefore, we tried to create a new shoe together and made a lot of suggestions for that..."
>> And when the new shoe was ready...?
Daubner: "... we tested it in our aerobic trio, with Isabell Piepiorra and Katja Graf and were all very satisfied with it."

>> What is so special about this new shoe?
Daubner: "The shoe is just great! You can perfectly stretch your feet in it, which is quite important for the many aerobic elements. It is a fantastic competition shoe."
>> But the shoe is still in the test stage?
Daubner: "Yes, there are still some details to improve, for example with the friction. We are in direct contact with the producer, who greatfully uses our suggestions and realizes them to mass-produce a really good shoe then."

>> How many shoes does a top aerobic gymnast need per season...?
Daubner: "It all depends how often it will use to the training, too, I believe a couple each year, maybe.
>> A pair of shoes costs about 100 Euros. Are the shoes reasonably priced, are they worth their price?
Daubner: "Absolutely! For this quality, the price corresponds to the value. I would buy the shoe myself and recommend it to others. Right now, BLEYER are developing other models, cheaper ones." Þ
>> In the next days, the Aerobic European Championships will start in Hungary. Will you start with the new BLEYER shoe at the Europeans?
Daubner: "Yes and we will even wear it!! The German national team has been supplied with 50 pairs. So its sure, that this new model will be our top shoe for the upcoming Worlds in Ulm in 2008 April"
