Dear Mary, You don’t know me but I have seen you dance many times during the last two or three years. You and Ray are absolutely wonderful to watch and it is not much wonder that you have won so many competitions. I also looked at your clothes at Adrian’s dance a few weeks ago and they deserve their “Gorgeous” name. I keep looking for the animated jitterbuging... I can remember seeing Buddy Holly down at (then) the new Vets... Memorial in Columbus, Ohio even before they had the windows set in the building; and Fats Domino in a "warehouse" club down off of Michigan Ave... If a beautiful, young, lady in my sophomore high school had not insisted I take jitterbug lessons with her, I, probably, would have missed-out on the most fun I've had throughout my life... dancing. I've just got to get back to the rest of your pages now... WOW, great site,

I just love rock & roll, I used to be quite a dancer myself in my younger years (but not in your class it seems). But it's not only rock & roll - your site has so much to see, and so many fantastic links to such a wide variety of sites. I started bookmarking just about every page - and thought "how ridiculous". I've now decided to bookmark your opening page because I know I'll be back time and time again to keep on "exploring". Hi! I'm being very naughty and e-mailing you during some spare time I've got at work, school actually (I'm a teacher).
I haven't visited your site for a coupla months now. I was very impressed back then, but even more so now! You've obviously done a lot more work on it Ray and it's looking terrific.
I've just spent about an hour looking at the links, jokes, etc. I also LOVE the colours you've used. I was looking at it as I'm teaching our Middle Department kids (grades 3 & 4) very basic rock 'n roll so they can put on a demo at the end of year family night on Dec 17th and the kids need to research 50's clothing styles for their costumes. Your site will give them heaps of ideas.
I also brought along the pieces I've bought from you for Russ & myself during the past 2 years, so they could see the real thing. I like the scans of pictures from the magazines you've got, Mary.
Must go, but wanted to tell you how impressed I am Ray. Thanks for a great website which is so interesting to look at as well as being very informative. The kids also love it.
Look forward to seeing you at a dance somewhere soon. Russ & I are getting married early next year and we'll be looking for 50's gear to wear. We're having a dance after a civil ceremony where all our friends will be attending. Will contact you soon.

Also, I had no idea how good your website was going to be when you told me about it. I have now been back to it about a dozen times and even made it my starting page because there's so much to see on it and it's a great starting to point to see other rock & roll sites. I have just received the skirt and petticoat in the mail today and am absolutely thrilled with them. They look great and are exactly what I wanted. Mary you may not know it, but I'm not the only person who is rapt in the clothes you've made - your reputation is spreading like "wildfire". I was directed to your site from a mate of mine in Melbourne who is a swing dancer and was instantly interested in a pair of Alexi shoes (the Brenda style in the first picture of them with no changes) and I was just wondering how I could go about getting a pair of these shoes (i live in Sydney) - if perhaps there was an order form that i could send to you and how much the postage would be to Sydney?
