BOOGIE WOOGIE

If you can take your eyes off off the girl in the video clip, the male dancer is superb.

He never moves his shoulders compared to what his feet & knees are doing. And the top of his head stays at about the same height, no matter what.

This is a pianist from Switzerland who plays some of the best Boogie Woogie anywhere.

He is so BIG over in Switzerland & Europe, that they hold a week-long Boogie Woogie contest every year & all the best players & dancers in the world are invited.

In this video he is joined by 2 amazing dancers.

The male dancer even has a haircut from the forties!

You can wear your Bleyer shoes absolutely ANYWHERE

you like - on the dance floor, inside, outside,

rain, hail or shine - it doesn't matter

The ONLY exceptions are if you choose to order your

shoes with chrome-suede or greenhide soles

(Jazz-Comfort & Dolly styles are only available with chrome-suede soles)

What is Contourex® Memofoam ???

Contourex® Memofoam is the combination of elastic & viscous properties in the one material, which in physics is referred to as a "visco-elastic" system. In this context, "Viscous" means steaming or flowing properties - "Elastic" means the reversible, distortable part of the material.

These properties can be illustrated using a "tensile test". The control specimens are stretched using an increasing tension - then released by suddenly slackening the tension. An elastic material immediately or quickly returns to its original size or shape (Fig. 1). Contourex® Memofoam returns to its original shape after approx 3 minutes (Fig. 2).

What can Contourex® Memofoam do ???

With Contourex® Memofoam, an "intelligent shape foam" has been developed based on a synthetic rubber with visco-elastic material properties. From a physical point of view, our skin also represents a visco elastic system.

The biomechanical properties of the skin are dependent not only on the skin structure, but also on the size of the cells, the cohesion of the individual skin layers & the complex interaction of the internal fibre structures.

From a physical point of view, the properties of Contourex® Memofoam & the biomechanical properties of human tissue form an almost identical comparison .

For example, this manifests in the fact that body heat & body weight transfer an optimum pressure distribution on Contourex® Memofoam Insoles. This reduces pressure points on vulnerable parts of the body.

Fig. 3 shows dynamic pressure load without (on the left), & with Contourex® Memofoam (on the right).

It is precisely the delayed re-shape properties of Contourex® Memofoam which adapts to the foot as it changes during dancing, or through the course of the day. These properties enables the formation of an adaptable, comfortable & individual footrest at all times, & under almost any circumstances.
